Optimal Power Flow Solutions for Power System Considering Electric Market and Renewable Energy

The paper applies jellyfish search algorithm (JSA) for reaching the maximum profit of IEEE 30-node and 118-node transmission power networks considering electrical market wind turbines (WTs). JSA is compared with particle swarm optimization (PSO), genetic (GA), moth (MSA), salp (SSA), water cycle (WCA) three study cases. same different electric prices all nodes are, respectively, considered in Case 1 2, whereas 3 considers placement one WT. As a result, can reach higher than MSA, SSA, WCA, PSO, GA by 1.2%, 2.44%, 1.7%, 1.3%, 1.02% Cases 1, 3. Then, applied optimizing from two to four WTs first system, zero five farms (WF) second systems. Comparison profits cases indicates that network if more WFs are optimally placed. support systems $130.3 $34770.4, respectively. greater equivalent 2.6% 97.2% base system.
